Fifteen stories in thirteen seconds

So I'm working on a second photomontage, and the setting I chose for it is inside of a hotel, and it got me to thinking. and I decided that I'm going to do a series of fifteen photomontages (including the one I've already done) representing each floor of the building in the original, which I will be renaming "The Entrance (First Floor)". The one I'm working on now will be the second floor, and so on. And they will represent a timespan of thirteen seconds, (which means there will be two pairs of simultaneous events).

The structure will basically be like this:

00:01 - The Entrance (The First Floor)
00:02 - The Second Floor
00:03 - The Third Floor
00:04 - The Fourth Floor
00:05 - The Fifth Floor
00:06 - The Sixth Floor
00:07 - The Seventh Floor
00:08 - The Eighth Floor
00:09 - The Ninth Floor / The Tenth Floor
00:10 - The Eleventh Floor
00:11 - The Twelfth Floor
00:12 - The Thirteenth Floor
00:13 - The Fourteeth Floor / The Fifteenth Floor

Pretty straightforward.

00:01 - The Entrance (The First Floor)

So this is my first art post. I haven't set up the galleries yet, (I really should get working on that), but this is the product of a weekend's worth of attempted creativity. It's a photomontage, obviously of heavy surrealist influence. (It's gotten comparisons to Salvador Dali, René Magritte and Storm Thorgerson so far, which is cool.)

More CSS news

Okay, I'm so very close to being done with this shit. Just have to figure out why Internet Explorer won't fucking render the page properly. (Aside from the obvious fact that it's a piece of shit, that is. Fucking Microsoft.)

Still need to add the sidebar again, and the navigation is also disabled right now. All in due time.

But for the time being, I'm taking a break to do stuff that's productive in the real world.

In non-Remembrance Day news

The CSS conversion is almost complete. Working out a few glitches, but I'd say I'm 90% done. Once that is done, fixing everything else is smooth sailing.

That is all.

Remembrance Day

World War I - 6.5 Million
World War II - 30 Million
Korean War - 1.5 Million
Vietnam War - 2-4 Million
Gulf War - 2,300
Current Iraq War - 30,000 (and rising)

These are the (approximate) civilian death tolls of the major 20th/21st century wars.

It's Remembrance Day (or Veterans Day if you're in the United States). So while you're being innundated with how you must remember all the soldiers who gave their lives, think of all the innocents who gave their lives as well.

As my friends in Protest the Hero said in 'Soft Targets Make Softer Graves',"Is it ridiculous to believe that killing the innocent is murder?"
