Back online + Pat Robertson is an asshole

Alright, it's about damn time I got this thing back online. The site is basically empty right now, but I'm working on that. I'm still working out the kinks and I'm going to be converting the layout to all CSS soon I hope.

I guess this is going to be the "blog" section of the site. It'll just be site news and rants about politics and social issues and what have you, just to get whatever is pissing me off about things off my chest. Real original, huh? The site is going to be more about the art than the ranting, but I do like to rant.

So let's start this off with one:

What the fuck is Pat Robertson's problem? You've got this jackass calling for the assassination of the democratically elected Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez, calling him a strong-arm dictator (which is utter bullshit) and then DENYING that he called for the assassination. According to, Robertson "I didn't say 'assassination.' I said our special forces should 'take him out.' And 'take him out' can be a number of things, including kidnapping; there are a number of ways to take out a dictator from power besides killing him." That'd be fine (aside from the whole strong-arm dictator lie) if he hadn't said, ON NATIONAL FUCKING TELEVISION, "You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it." Fucking moron. A high-profile Christian leader spouting borderline terrorist rhetoric on national TV. Isn't religion supposed to instill a sense of morality? Doesn't seem very moral or Christian to me to lie about Chavez and then call for his assassination (something about not bearing false witness and things of that nature in the Bible). How much you want to bet that this asshole sees NO repercussions for this?
